Ammas Army Day
23rd July, 2011
As part of the ongoing relationship between Yorkshire Amateur and the Yorkshire Regiment, Ammas spent today at Queen Elizabeth Barracks being put through some extra special pre-season training.
The day involved an assault course, paintballing, problem solving and communication skills and other activities - and, whilst it left everyone shattered, it was a great day for all involved.
Gaffer Paul Lines said: "What a great way to build team spirit.
"The lads have had a fantastic time whilst being put through their paces by the Yorkshire Regiment and we thank all involved for a superb day."
In return, Yorkshire Amateur will entertain the Yorkshire Regiment on 1st August, Yorkshire Day, in the first of the annual Yorkshire Challenge Trophy games.
Kick off is 7.30pm and all gate money is to be donated to the Yorkshire Regiment Benevolent Fund.
