Winterton Rangers climbed up into the top three of the Baris NCEL Premier Division by notching up their fourth straight win in midweek.
Two goals each from Jake Stannard and James O'Neill ensured that they moved to within three points of leaders Bridlington Town with a 4-2 victory at Hall Road Rangers.
They went above Staveley Miners Welfare who were beaten 3-1 by visitors Arnold Town.
Luke Smithson put the Eagles ahead on 23 minutes but Luke Forgione levelled for the hosts before the interval.
Smithson, however, restored the away side's advantage just after the hour mark and Philip Buxton made sure of the win ten minutes later.
A Tom Matthews brace helped Brighouse Town to a 2-1 victory at Long Eaton United to move them up into the top six whilst Liversedge were 4-1 home winners over Barton Town Old Boys.
Handsworth made it nine consecutive victories to extend their lead at the top of Division One to six points.
Faffy Gwindi struck twice in the opening period before Scott Bates made sure of the win as they beat visitors Grimsby Borough, 3-0.
Albion Sports and Worksop Parramore kept their title challenges alive with home victories.
Sports were 2-1 winners at home to Hemsworth Miners Welfare, Jordan Missin and Steve Hollingworth netting for them in the opening period before there was a late consolation for the away side from Craig Conway.
Parramore had a more comfortable time of it as a double from Gavin Allott helped them to a 6-1 triumph over Yorkshire Amateur.
Mark La Rocca netted twice in Bottesford Town's 3-0 home win over Shirebrook Town whilst Hallam beat visitors Louth Town, 2-1, and Askern Villa lost 4-1 at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic.
Nostell Miners Welfare booked their place in the last eight of the League Cup with a 4-0 victory over visitors Selby Town.
They were three up by the half-hour with goals from Brad Thompson, Liam Coughlan and James Eyles before Thompson completed the scoring with his second seven minutes from time.
