21st May, 2019
Andrew Watts has been appointed as the manager of East Hull, the name by which East Yorkshire Carnegie will be known from the start of the 2019/20 season.
A club statement released on Monday night revealed that Watts had joined them from Hall Road Rangers and that "his passion for the game shines through."
Matt Harvey returns to the club as goalkeeping coach and talks have already begun with players that the new manager is keen to bring to the club as they get ready for the new Toolstation NCEL Division One campaign.
Watts added: ""Absolutely delighted to be appointed as the manager of East Hull FC after speaking with (owner) Jamie (Waltham) about his vision and plans for the club and the fans it was a no brainier for me.
"The hard work has already begun behind the scenes from everyone involved and there's a real buzz about the place.
"Looking forward to meeting everyone from the club and the fans - if you see me around please feel free to come and have a chat."
