Ground sponsorship extended at Harworth
10th February, 2019
Harworth Colliery have announced that Jones and Co Solicitors will extend their sponsorship of the Toolstation NCEL Division One club's ground for a further four years.
The Colliery, who are enjoying their first season back in the NCEL since the mid-1980s, made the announcement on their website on Sunday afternoon.
A statement read: "The ground will remain as the Jones and Co Recreational ground as it has done for the past three seasons - a period of time that has seen great improvements for the club both on and off the field including promotion into the Northern Counties.
"Having sponsors such as Jones and Co allows us to grow every aspect of the club - in their time with us, we have introduced a ladies team and an under 18s and we hope to be able to progress with teams even further. Only having local companies like Jones and Co behind us allows us to do just that.
"The football club couldn't be happier to have Jones and Co extend their sponsorship especially as they now have offices in Harworth at the old police station on Shrewsbury Road which opened back in September.
"Jones and Co have continuously backed the club whether be sponsoring the club's polo shirts and sportsman's dinners, along with our player of the month.
"They also regularly back other local events too so we feel honoured to have them involved with the club.
"Pictured are Andrew Bevan and Louise Richardson - many thanks to you both for arranging the new deal and we look forward to forging an even better working relationship between ourselves.
"The last three years have been great for the club let's hope the next four will prove even better."
