Garforth Town will host Albion Sports in next weekend's final in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division Play-Offs for a place at Step 4 next season.Both the Miners and the Lions came through their Semi-Final matches on Saturday with Garforth needing penalties to defeat visitors
Rossington Main.
The match was goalless after ninety minutes and a tight game was decided 4-2 in Garforth's favour in the shoot-out.
Sports, meanwhile, were 2-0 victors at
Campion with substitute Ashley Flynn grabbing both of their goals, the first from the penalty spot, early in the second period.
Division One champions
Parkgate were presented with the trophy after their JCP Construction League Cup Quarter-Final with
Silsden AFC.
And, the Steelmen capped off the historic day with a 2-1 win over their Premier Division opponents.
Ross Duggan gave them an early lead that was cancelled out just before half-time by Jake Maltby but Robert Ludlam's 81st minute saw the hosts through to the final four.
In the Premier Division,
Knaresborough Town end the campaign in eighth after their 3-0 win at
Barton Town, Danny Edwards, Aaron White and Alex Ingham with the second half goals.
There were three Division One matches, including a 3-1 home victory for
Harrogate Railway Athletic over
Retford FC, Luca Bolino striking twice for the hosts.
And, there were 2-1 wins for
Clay Cross Town and
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic on their travels.
Callam Lytham netted both of Clay Cross' goals at
Louth Town whilst Connor Glavin and Jack Appleyard found the net for the Briggers at
Nostell Miners Welfare.
