The line-up for this season's semi-finals in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division play-offs was decided in midweek with Penistone Church's 1-1 home draw with Knaresborough Town. They had needed to win the game to have a chance of snatching fifth spot but, despite a late equaliser from Nathan Keightley after Elliott Owen had given the visitors the lead, they could not grab all three points.
That means
Albion Sports's place was confirmed and they will travel to
Campion who secured second place with their 6-3 home win over
Thackley.
Patrick Sykes' hat-trick, along with one each for Aidan Kirby, Nathan Cartman and Daniel Illingworth, claimed the victory whilst Ben Grech-Brooksbank's double added to Finn Donovan's opener for the visitors.
The other semi-final sees
Garforth Town, who finish third after a 1-0 win at
Eccleshill United thanks to a Harry Viggars strike, hosting
Rossington Main.
Lewis Macaskill was another hat-trick hero as
Hallam won 6-1 at home to
Maltby Main, with Iren Wilson, Brandon Bradbury and Sam Eckhardt also adding to the Countrymen's tally whilst Marc Newsham got on the scoresheet for Main.
Barton Town's two midweek games ended in a goalless draw at home to
Handsworth on Tuesday and a 4-1 loss to visitors
Goole AFC two days later.
William Waudby grabbed a late consolation for the Swans after the Vikings had taken control through goals from Bolton Makwedza, Luca Grant, Lucas Robinson and Brice Ghussein.
The fascinating chase for the Division One title continues with
Beverley Town top by two points after Joe McFadyen, Grant Tait, Conner Harman and Kai Larkin scored in their 4-1 win over
Clay Cross Town.
Parkgate won their two midweek matches to close the gap and climb up into second with two games in hand of the leaders.
Ross Duggan's hat-trick and one each for Bradley Morton and Silas Valladolid-Collins secured a 5-1 victory again
Ollerton Town before Duggan and Valladolid-Collins scored again in a 2-0 win at
Harrogate Railway Athletic.
Retford United secured at least a play-off spot and are four points off the summit after their 3-0 defeat of hosts
Nostell Miners Welfare, Liam Owen, Max Pemberton and Mark West with the Badgers' goals.
Glasshoughton Welfare kept themselves still in with a mathematical chance of finishing outside the relegation zone as Matthew Doyle netted in a 1-0 home victory over Harrogate Railway.
They stay three points behind
Yorkshire Amateur who were beaten 3-1 at home by
Horbury Town, James Cusworth with a late double securing the win for the visitors.
Both Glasshoughton and the Ammers have a game to play with Welfare having a better goal difference as the race to avoid finishing in the bottom three goes down to the wire.
Elsewhere,
Brigg Town were 7-1 winners against Ollerton Town in Ollerton's second game in midweek, with two each for Ben Vasquez and Luke Mascall whilst Finley O'Sullivan, Scott Hutchinson and Stephen McCarron also scored.
Bailey Wright grabbed the only goal of the game as
Louth Town prevailed at
Armthorpe Welfare whilst William Wraith struck twice for
Staveley Miners Welfare in a 3-1 victory at
Dronfield Town.
And, there were also two goals for Edward Agnew as
