Congratulations to Emley AFC who confirmed the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title with an emphatic 5-0 victory at Goole AFC on Saturday.

Knowing that a win would give them an unassailable lead at the top of the table, the Pewits took a two goal lead in the first half at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds thanks to a Ruben Jerome brace before adding to their tally three times in the final twenty minutes to spark their well-deserved celebrations.

Alex Metcalfe and Joe Clegg put the result beyond doubt with James Walshaw's penalty completing the scoring in injury time.

Second-placed Campion, meanwhile, were beaten 4-1 at play-off rivals Rossington Main which meant the trophy was Emley's no matter what the scoreline was but Richard Tracey's side will be delighted to have claimed it in comprehensive style.

Two goals each from Liam King and Owen Eames gave Main the win whilst Campion's goal came courtesy of a Mitchell Langton own goal.

It means Campion's play-off spot is assured whilst fourth-placed Rossington are almost guaranteed a top-five finish.

Garforth Town, who are third, won 5-1 at Bottesford Town to also book their place in the play-offs, two each for Matthew Antcliff and Samuel Cable adding to Daniel Coupland's opener with the hosts' goal coming as an early equaliser through Matthew Broadley.

Albion Sports were 1-0 home victors over Barton Town, Ashley Flynn with the breakthrough around the hour mark, to keep themselves four points clear of sixth-placed Thackley in the final play-off berth.

Ben Grech-Brooksbank and Finn Donovan struck for Thackley as they won 2-1 at home to Frickley Athletic, Morgan James with the consolation for the visitors.

Penistone Church's play-off ambitions took a major blow as they went down 4-3 at Silsden AFC to leave them in seventh spot, nine points behind Albion Sports with four games left to play.

Kayle Price's hat-trick for the hosts did most of the damage with Luke Brooksbank also netting for the Cobbydalers whilst Nathan Keightley netted twice for Church with Lennon O'Grady also getting on the scoresheet.

Hallam climb to eighth after Oliver Fearon scored both their goals in a 2-0 win at Golcar United with Knaresborough Town, who drew 1-1 at home with Tadcaster Albion, and Silsden completing the top half of the table.

Sam Cook's injury-time equaliser rescued a point for Knaresborough after Jordan Hines had given the visiting Brewers a first half lead.

Bottom side Maltby Main were beaten 1-0 at home by Eccleshill United, Harvey Booth with the decider that secures Eccleshill's Premier Division survival whilst Main remain four points away from safety with two games remaining.

Pickering Town stay the side just above them after they went down 3-0 at Handsworth, Brandon Bagley with a couple and Shaun Tuton also netting for the Ambers.

Division One leaders Shirebrook Town were without a game and the three sides chasing them for the title all took full advantage with victories.

Wakefield AFC left it late to claim a 3-2 win at Wombwell Town, Slater Barkham-Barnes with his second coming in stoppage time to keep his side second, now three points off the summit.

Luke Sellers and Joe McFadyen were the scorers for Beverley Town as they came from behind to win 2-1 at Louth Town and they are a further point behind in third.

And, fourth-placed Parkgate beat visitors Dronfield Town 2-0, Silas Valladolid-Collins and Robert Ludlam with the Steelmen's goals to close the gap on Shirebrook to six points with five games in hand.

Horbury Town were beaten 3-1 at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic to leave them eight points behind the play-off zone in sixth spot.

Gibril Bojang scored their goal but Kane Swinburn, Harley Holt and Jack Bradford ensured a home victory for the Briggers.

At the other end of the table, Glasshoughton Welfare now find themselves nine points from safety after Liam Bennent and Liam Frost claimed a 2-0 win for visitors Retford FC.

Glasshoughton will need to win three of their final four games to have any chance of leaping out of the relegation zone.

The gap has increased due to Armthorpe Welfare's 9-0 win at bottom side Ollerton Town with a hat-trick for Adam Baskerville, a Luis Alfonso-Ferreira brace, and one each for Jack Varley, Matthew Flanagan, Jordan Buckham and Charlie Clegg.

Swallownest, like Ollerton, have already had their bottom three finish confirmed but they enjoyed a 2-1 home win over Yorkshire Amateur who are not yet mathematically safe, Alex Wonham and James Hardeman with their goals whilst Freddie Swales netted for the Ammers.

Dean McCarthy scored the only goal of the game as Brigg Town won at home to Clay Cross Town, Nathan Perks and Harrison Landon secured a 2-1 home victory for Athersley Recreation at the expense of Selby Town.

And, there was a 2-2 draw between Nostell Miners Welfare and Staveley Miners Welfare with the hosts twice coming from behind, Harley Blankley with the second equaliser that ensured the spoils were shared.
