Goole AFC picked up a priceless away victory to move five points clear of the relegation zone in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division in midweek.
A 4-2 win at Pickering Town on Tuesday night came courtesy of two goals each for Brice Ghussein and Liam Flanagan whilst Kieran Stares and Paul Roddam netted for the Pikes who stay seventeenth in the table, eight points above bottom side Maltby Main.
In Wednesday's games, Eccleshill United netted an 88th minute equaliser for a 2-2 home draw with Penistone Church that sees the Eagles move to seven points clear of danger in eighteenth.
They had taken the lead in the 42nd minute through Matthias Britton but Ryan Johnson and Kieran Ryan turned the game in the visitors' favour in the second half before parity was restored late on.
And, Albion Sports are up to fourth after their 2-0 home win over Frickley Athletic, thanks to a brace from Robbie Fox, and the Lions now have a five point buffer zone in the play-off positions.
In Division One, Beverley Town returned to the top of the table as they won 4-2 at home to Glasshoughton Welfare after going behind to a third minute opener from Thomas Palmer.
Benjamin Hinchliffe and Joe McFadyen gave them a 2-1 lead by the interval and then Joshua Batty and McFadyen with his second further increased their advantage before the hour mark.
William Turner grabbed an injury time second for Glasshoughton who remain in the drop zone.
Wakefield AFC picked up a point in a 1-1 draw at Retford FC to move up into second as previous leaders Shirebrook Town dropped to third.
Slater Barkham-Barnes' second-half penalty ensured honours were even after the home side had gone in front towards the end of the opening period through Ainsley Finney.
James Cusworth struck five as seventh-placed Horbury Town moved to within two points of the play-off zone with an 8-0 home thrashing of basement side Ollerton Town.
Bradley Swain also got his name on the scoresheet whilst Declan McGivern struck twice in quick succession towards the start of the second period.
