Penistone Church are through to the final of this season's Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup after a penalty shoot-out victory at home to Stocksbridge Park Steels in midweek.
The game finished goalless after ninety minutes and the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side prevailed 5-4 on spot kicks over their higher-ranked visitors.
The prospect of an all-NCEL final was thwarted, however, even though Parkgate went ahead through a Ross Duggan penalty in their semi-final at home to Worksop Town as the Tigers turned the game around to win 3-1.
Elsewhere, Wakefield AFC beat hosts and NCEL rivals Tadcaster Albion in the quarter-finals of the West Riding County Cup.
Daniel Thirkell had given the hosting Brewers a first half lead but, after the interval, Callum Charlton, Oliver Green and Sebastian Losa secured a deserved 3-1 win for the Division One side over their Premier Division opponents.
Patrick Sykes and Nathan Cartman netted for Campion giving them a 2-0 advantage in their tie at Pontefract Collieries but the hosts fought back to go through 3-2 with an 86th minute winner.
And, in Thursday night's game, Harrogate Railway Athletic produced a shock as they were comfortable winners in their Second Round tie, Harry Bandeira, Nathan Merchant twice, and Joseph Navier all scoring in the first half to win 4-0 at home to FC Halifax Town.
In the Premier Division, two goals each for Sam Barker and Charlie Marshall helped Garforth Town to consolidate third spot in the table.
That was after Samuel Cable had given them a nineteenth minute lead in a 5-0 home victory over Bottesford Town, one of four matches played in the division on Tuesday.
Golcar United, Silden AFC and Knaresborough Town all won to keep themselves eighth, ninth and tenth, respectively.
Oliver Russon netted twice for Golcar as they beat visitors Goole AFC 5-1 with George Doyle, Adam Field and Buddy Cox also getting on the scoresheet.
Goole, who had taken the lead in the fifth minute through Sam Thompson, remain next-to-bottom, two points above basement side Maltby Main.
An Ellis Hudson penalty set Silsden off on their way to a 4-0 defeat of Handsworth, Jake Maltby, Adam Clayton and Jake Cassidy making sure of the victory in the second half.

Sean Hunter and Thomas Alngohuro were the scorers for the home side who fall into the relegation zone after Yorkshire Amateur's 4-0 home victory over Worsbrough Bridge Athletic moved the Ammers out of the bottom three.
