Hallam suffered penalties heartbreak as their excellent run in this season's Isuzu FA Vase ended at the Fifth Round stage at home to Lincoln United on Saturday.

The Countrymen twice came from behind, firstly through Basile Zottos and then a Danny Buttle penalty, in a thrilling game that ended 2-2 in front of a crowd of 1287.

But, it was the visitors who prevailed 6-5 in the shoot-out, going through to the Quarter-Finals where Emley AFC are now the only Toolstation NCEL representative.

Emley, meanwhile, saw the Premier Division title race swing further in their favour following their 2-0 home victory over Tadcaster Albion.

Ruben Jerome put the Pewits ahead prior to half-time before James Walshaw made sure of the win with their second midway through the second period.

Emley are now six points clear at the summit with two games in hand of second-placed Campion who went down 5-2 at Penistone Church.

Nathan Keightley scored four for the home side whilst Josh Brown also netted for Church who stay seventh, four points away from the play-off zone, and Campion's goals came from Nathan Cartman and Michael O'Brien.

Charlie Marshall and Rinor Ejupi netted for Garforth Town who climb up to third in the table with a 2-1 victory at Silsden AFC, Arley Barnes with a late consolation for the hosts who stay eighth.

Rossington Main are fourth thanks to goals from Liam Hardy and Manasse Kianga was they won 2-0 at Knaresborough Town.

The bottom two met in a massive game in the race to avoid relegation and it was visitors Maltby Main who came away with the points as a Jake Morrison double, added to by one each from Oliver McQuillin and Harry Spooner, claimed a 4-0 victory at Goole AFC.

The win moves Maltby out of the basement on goal difference and their hosts are now bottom but with two games in hand.

Alfie Wilkinson struck twice for Golcar United in a 3-1 victory at Bottesford Town whilst there were draws in the other two matches.

Keegan Townrow's injury-time equaliser snatched a 1-1 scoreline for Frickley Athletic at Handsworth and four goals were shared between hosts Pickering Town and Eccleshill United after the hosts had gone into a 2-0 lead through Omar Sanyang and Nathan Dyer.

In Division One, Wakefield AFC stay at the summit as goals from Aaron Pilkington, Mason Rubie and Sebastian Losa secured a 3-0 win at Athersley Recreation.

They are two points clear of Shirebrook Town who are up to second after second-half quickfire goals from Kieren Watson and Rio Allan in a 2-0 home victory over Nostell Miners Welfare.

Beverley Town drop to third after their game at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic was one of three matches called off due to a waterlogged pitch, another saw fourth-placed Parkgate's trip to Louth Town postponed.

Retford United consolidated fifth spot as they won 3-1 at next-to-bottom Swallownest, Alfie Bakes putting the hosts ahead before a Joshua Nodder double and an Adam Chapman strike claimed the victory.

James Cusworth netted both of Horbury Town's goals in their 2-0 success at Selby Town and they stay in touch of the play-off zone in seventh.

Staveley Miners Welfare won 3-0 at basement side Ollerton Town, Dustyn Grierson, Jack Deakin and Joshua Pickering with the goals, whilst Harry Griffin's 87th minute strike saw hosts Brigg Town edge a tight game, winning 3-2 at home to Dronfield Town.

It was honours even between Retford FC and their visitors Yorkshire Amateur as Jack Johnson levelled for the hosts following a Marcel Chigumira penalty for the Ammers in a 1-1 draw.

And, Clay Cross Town's home clash with Armthorpe Welfare was the third match to be called off in the division.
