Emley AFC took advantage of a defeat for Campion at neighbours Eccleshill United to move to within a point of the summit in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division on Saturday.Jahro Parchment and Cole Roberts struck for Eccleshill in a 2-1 victory over their local rivals with Joseph Colley grabbing an 88th minute consolation, giving the Pewits a chance to reduce the gap with four games in hand.
And, Emley did just that as they won 3-1 at third-placed
Thackley that opened up a ten point gulf between themselves and their hosts to make the chase for the title even more of a two-horse race.
Ruben Jerome put them ahead on 22 minutes before Kieran Suddards equalised just prior to the hour mark but Jerome's second restored the away side's advantage and Charlie Barks made sure with a late third for Emley.
Rossington Main are up to fourth following their 4-1 home win over
Penistone Church who stay seventh, Ross Hannah with a couple and one each for Liam King and Jamie Green before Antony Brown netted an injury-time consolation for the visitors.

Frickley Athletic and
Silsden AFC remain ninth and tenth, respectively, after suffering defeat with Frickley falling to a 5-1 loss at the hands of visitors
Hallam.
Scott Ruthven and Iren Wilson had put the Countrymen 2-0 by the interval with Danny Buttle's penalty early in the second period adding to their tally.
Morgan James pulled one back on 59 minutes but Brandon Bradbury and Joe Lumsden made it a comprehensive scoreline for the away side who climb to eleventh.
Silsden, meanwhile, went down 3-0 at
Goole AFC, Liam Flanagan, Daniel Ward and Luca Grant with the goals for the Vikings that keep them out of the basement as bottom side
Maltby Main also won by the same scoreline.

Barton Town but they remain a point away from safety.
And, it was a 1-1 draw between

Parkgate remain two points clear at the top of Division One but they were made to work very hard to claim a victory at next-to-bottom

Second-placed
Wakefield AFC were 4-0 victors at

Wombwell Town climb to third after their 4-1 win at basement side

Jordan Kershaw gave them a goal advantage by half-time, Anthony Mackie and Edward Agnew increased their lead before Sam Roebuck netted for Ollerton but Callum Walton's 65th minute penalty snuffed out any chance of a fightback by the hosts.
There were two goals for Conner Harman as
Beverley Town jump up into the play-off zone with a 4-2 win at

Harrogate Railway Athletic, Samuel Kyeremeh with a second-half brace for them as they look to close an eleven-point gap between themselves and the top five.
Dronfield Town are up to eighth following their 3-1 win at
Selby Town, Samuel Bebbington's penalty and a Max Rhodes strike securing the win in a game that was 1-1 at the interval.
Daniel Grierson, Kian Tansley, Jack Deakin and Dustyn Grierson were the scorers for
Staveley Miners Welfare who beat hosts
Glasshoughton Welfare 4-0 to climb to ninth.
Connor Glavin's early penalty ensured the points for
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic in a 1-0 victory at home to
Louth Town whilst a big game in the battle to avoid relegation saw
Armthorpe Welfare run out 2-1 winners over visitors
Yorkshire Amateur.
Charlie Clegg's spot kick on 88 minutes claimed the victory for the hosts that moves them to four points clear of the Ammers who are in the drop zone.
And, in Friday night's match,
Nostell Miners Welfare were 2-1 victors at
Athersley Recreation, Nicholas Lalousis and Hayden Swift the scorers for the away side.
