The first four sides have booked their places in the Quarter-Finals of this season's JCP Construction League Cup with victories in their Third Round ties in midweek.

Frickley Athletic were 1-0 winners at Barton Town, progressing courtesy of Alhassane Keita's 78th minute decider, whilst Bottesford Town and Parkgate also triumphed away from home.

Luke Ayris gave Bottesford an opening minute lead at Dronfield Town but their Division One hosts levelled on the quarter-of-an-hour mark through Callum Mawbey before Rinalds Jurkstis settled the encounter, making it 2-1 after the half-hour.

An injury-time penalty from Jamie Austin secured passage for Parkgate with a win by the same scoreline at Wombwell Town after Cian Guest's opener had been cancelled out by Jordan Good for the hosts.

And, Rossington Main prevailed 8-7 on spot kicks after a 1-1 home draw with Pickering Town, Kieran Stares had given the away side a 48th minute lead with Ross Hannah restoring parity with a penalty midway through the second period.

Meanwhile, Penistone Church are through to the Semi-Finals of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup as a Nathan Keightley brace and a Leon Hurles-Brook strike ensured a 3-2 home victory over North West Counties League side Shelley.
