Marcus Day took his season's tally to 24 as his hat-trick helped Toolstation NCEL Premier Division leaders Campion to a 6-2 home victory over Frickley Athletic on Saturday.

Nicky Boshell, Joseph Colley and Patrick Sykes also found the net to keep the Red and Blacks four points clear at the summit whilst Zavier Elkin and Luke Walker scored for the visitors who drop to seventh.

Second-placed Emley AFC were also winners on their own patch with a hat-trick from Ruben Jerome, plus one each from Joe Clegg and James Eyles, securing a 5-0 victory over Maltby Main.

Maltby now find themselves in the basement, replacing Bottesford Town who jumped over them in the standings with their 2-1 win at Eccleshill United.

The Poachers went behind to a Talent Ndlovu ten minute opener but Josh Eccles equalised early in the second period before Ndlovu put one in his own net to give the visitors a vital victory.

Albion Sports lost ground of the top two in third as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Silsden AFC who move up to sixth, courtesy of goals from Ellis Hudson and Jake Maltby after Robbie Fox had given the hosting Lions an early lead.

Thomas Greaves scored both of fourth-placed Thackley's goals in a 2-2 draw at Tadcaster Albion with Junayd Cassius-Gill and Oliver Norman getting on the scoresheet for the Brewers.

Garforth Town climb to fifth after Charlie Marshall's opener and Daniel Coupland's penalty gave them a 2-0 win at Hallam and Rossington Main are up to eighth following their 3-1 victory at Barton Town.

Bradley Grayson, Gregory Young and Paul Sherburn ensured the win for Main whilst William Waudby grabbed an injury time consolation for the Swans.

Handsworth were 6-1 home victors over Goole AFC, Alfie Dodsworth with a couple whilst Tom Bishop, Mitchell Dunne, Leon Howarth and Mason Barlow also got on the Ambers scoresheet.

Thomas Brennan netted in added on time to snatch Penistone Church a 2-1 home win against Golcar United whilst Pickering Town and Knaresborough Town played out a 1-1 draw.

Wakefield AFC have extended their lead at the top of Division One to five points following their 2-1 win at Staveley Miners Welfare, Oliver Green scoring early on before Mason Ruble ensured victory in stoppage time with Jay-Jay Cutts then finding enough time to halve the deficit.

Parkgate stay second but saw the gap with the summit grow following their 2-2 home draw with Horbury Town although they needed a Luke Playford own goal eight minutes into stoppage time to take one point from their encounter.

And, third-placed Wombwell Town could also only manage a draw as a 57th minute penalty from Gavin Allott was cancelled out late on by Charlie Clegg for visitors Armthorpe Welfare in a game that finished 1-1.

Kieren Watson and Oliver Grady struck in the opening quarter of Shirebrook Town's 2-1 home win over Selby Town to move their side up to fourth whilst a Joshua Nodder hat-trick helped Retford United to a 4-1 victory against visitors Dronfield Town and they are up to sixth.

Sam Clothier grabbed both of Harrogate Railway Athletic's goals as they climb to eighth following their 2-1 win at Nostell Miners Welfare.

Swallownest remain bottom of the table after their 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Clay Cross Town, Reece Clegg with a couple for the visitors, one point behind Ollerton Town who lost 2-1 at home to Retford FC, Charlie Williams with an 88th minute decider.

Louth Town were 2-0 home victors over Yorkshire Amateur, Kieran Perry and Bradley Coulam with their goals whilst Glasshoughton Welfare came from 3-1 down to win 4-3 at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic, Ashley Bell with a brace for Welfare.

Meanwhile, despite goals from Oliver McQuillin, Connor Peace and Sam Thompson, Athersley Recreation were knocked out of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup at the Third Round stage with a 5-3 defeat at Shelley.
