Campion's lead at the top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division is down to two points after they were held to a 2-2 draw by hosts Knaresborough Town on Saturday.

Stephen Crawford and Aidan Kirby netted to give them a 2-1 lead by the 73rd minute after Lewis Stephens had given the home side an early lead before Stephens' second ensured the spoils were shared at Manse Lane.

The three other sides in the top four took advantage by winning their games to close the gap with Albion Sports' 1-0 home victory over Tadcaster Albion keeping the Lions at the head of the pack.

The visiting Brewers played most of the game a man light after the fifteenth minute dismissal of Joseph Crosby as Hass Gorji's 53rd minute strike meant it was the hosts who took the points.

Third-placed Emley AFC were 3-0 victors at Silsden AFC, Samuel Pashley, Iyrwah Gooden and Nathan Curtis with their goals whilst Thackley stay fourth following their 1-0 win at basement side Bottesford Town with Ben Bodle's decider coming in the seventh minute.

A hat-trick for Charlie Marshall helped Garforth Town to a 4-1 triumph at Maltby Main to move his side up to fifth with Matthew Antcliff getting their fourth goal whilst Ethan Hobson netted for the hosts.

Lloyd Smith scored the only goal of the game as Frickley Athletic picked up three points at Rossington Main to move above their opponents into seventh.

There was injury-time drama for Pickering Town as last gasp goals from Blake Drury and Wayne Kitula saw them turn around a 2-1 deficit to win 3-2 at home to Penistone Church, a win that moves the next-to-bottom side four points clear of Bottesford.

Scott Ruthven, Iren Wilson and Ashley Flynn netted for Hallam as they beat hosts Goole AFC 3-0 whilst Golcar United were 2-1 home victors over Eccleshill United.

George Doyle and Daniel Naidole's goals towards the start of the second period proved enough for the win whilst Emmanuel Amole grabbed a 64th minute consolation for the Eagles.

Four games survived the bad weather in Division One with Wakefield AFC's 2-0 victory at Louth Town moving them up to second, one point behind leaders Wombwell Town.

Sebastian Losa and Mason Rubie scored in quick succession around the quarter-of-an-hour mark to claim the victory.

Shirebrook Town consolidated fourth spot with a 6-3 home win over Yorkshire Amateur in a game that was level at 3-3 going into the final ten minutes.

Sam Finlaw's second put Shirebrook back in front before an injury-time double from Carlton Carty secured the points for the hosts.

Armthorpe Welfare climbed out of the basement in their bottom-of-the-table clash at Swallownest with a 4-0 victory dumping their hosts back to the foot of the standings.

A Joe Lister own goal broke the deadlock with a Jack Varley double and a Harley McCormack strike further making sure of a win for Welfare.

And, Clay Cross Town were 3-0 winners at Athersley Recreation, Kane Snell's early opener added to towards the end of the game by Daniel Shelbourne and Reece Clegg.

Meanwhile, two ties were played in the Second Round of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup with wins for Parkgate and Handsworth.

Jack Haslam scored for Parkgate as they beat hosts Jubilee Sports 1-0 whilst Handsworth defeated Wombwell Main 7-2 in a game that was switched to the NCEL Premier Division side's ground to beat the rain.

Alfie Dodsworth's hat-trick was added to by one each for Jonathan Williams, Oscar Radford, Shaun Tuton and Leon Howarth as the Ambers comfortably booked their place at the next stage.
