Knaresborough Town remain top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division after they made it four wins out of four on Saturday.

Despite going behind to an early Joseph Skarz opener for visitors Golcar United, they led by the interval, courtesy of goals from Cameron Bedford and Danny Edwards before Nathan Cartman added their third on 73 minutes.

Daniel Naidole halved the deficit once again for the away side but Knaresborough claimed the victory that keeps them at the summit.

Campion and Penistone Church make up the rest of the top three as they both won to make it a maximum nine points from their games so far.

Campion took the spoils in a dramatic 4-3 win at Barton Town with Marcus Day completing his hat-trick to snatch the victory in the 88th minute.

That was just seconds after the Swans had thought they had rescued a draw with Thomas Waudby also getting his third of the afternoon, a second from the penalty spot.

Church's afternoon was more straightforward, meanwhile, as they beat visitors Eccleshill United 2-0 thanks to a Kieran Ryan double with a goal in each half.

Tadcaster Albion picked up their first points of the season as they won 1-0 at home to Bottesford Town who are still waiting to get off the mark, Lewis Stephens' header on 61 minutes claiming victory for the Brewers.

And, Ross Hannah's 25th minute penalty put Rossington Main ahead but Robert Guilfoyle equalised for hosts Goole AFC in a 1-1 draw at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds.

Retford United and Harrogate Railway Athletic stay the top two in Division One following victories, with United coasting to a 4-0 win at Yorkshire Amateur.

Nicholas Guest's first half brace was added to by a Mark West spot kick and a Tom Roebuck strike in the second half whilst the Rail were 2-1 victors at home to Staveley Miners Welfare.

Alex Clark got both of his side's goals, one from the penalty spot, after James Gregory had given the Trojans the lead midway through the opening period.

Retford FC are up to third in the early table after Liam Frost's 29th minute penalty secured them a 1-0 home win over Shirebrook Town and the top six is completed by Parkgate, Brigg Town and Selby Town who all picked up three points.

Ross Duggan, Connor Williamson and Silas Valladolid-Collins netted for Parkgate in their 3-1 triumph at Clay Cross Town after Michael Williams had scored the opening goal of the afternoon for their hosts.

Brigg defeated visitors Ollerton Town 2-0 with a quickfire double from Stephen McCarron and Scott Hutchinson jut before half-time and Iwan Heeley's injury-time winner made it a 2-1 scoreline in Selby's favour at home to Wombwell Town.

Louth Town were 4-1 victors at Horbury Town with Jordan Smith, Oliver Kendall, Kieran Perry and Alex Aldrich finding the net in their first win of the season.

Elliot Wilson and Luke Francis were on the scoresheet for Worsbrough Bridge Athletic in their 2-0 win at Athersley Recreation in the Friday night game.

And, it was honours even in the remaining two matches as Dronfield Town were held 1-1 by visitors Beverley Town and Swallownest took a point from their 2-2 draw at Glasshoughton Welfare.
